The most important reason that we use Forwood’s CRM solution is that is gives us a fatality prevention program. We don’t want fatalities in Metso. It is a proven way of preventing fatalities and ensuring critical controls are in place. We’ve had injuries and incidents in the near past where critical control checks were not done. Had they been done, that injury probably wouldn’t have occurred. We have enough procedures, and that’s great! We have a safety management system, and that’s great! We did not have a frontline check that ensures those critical controls are in place. This program does that. Secondly, our customers expect us to have a fatality prevention program and a means of assuring critical controls are in place.
